I found mine in a small paper bag by the side of the road. Actually, I played with a Heathkit H89 in high school but really fell in love with computers with the release of the Sinclair ZX81. I really loved that machine and I hope to pick up one someday at a garage sale or flea market. From there, I went to the Atari and the Amiga and in 1991, moved to the PC. I also have experience with the Apple II and Mac. I learned everything on my own from reading and experimentation. In the PC world, I started with DOS, went to Windows 286 and Windows 3.0, went to OS/2 with version 2.11 and in 1994, went off the deep end and fell in love with Linux..

I learned all on my own. I bought a PC and brought it home and plugged it in, then the rest is History. At first I was scared that I would click on the wrong box or do something that would crash my comp, but now...a few years later I come within a hair of crashing my comp pretty much on a weekly basis.....and that thing still keeps on ticking. Trial and Error Rains Supreme in my Domain.

That's great Tina. I'll be coming to you for any domain name server, web server or mail server questions I may have. Did your college teach you any Linux?
