Here is an interesting story on Slashdot. Someone has developed a language translator for Yahoo Messenger.

So far, the supported languages are English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Sorry, no Tagalog. Looks like fun though and I may have to try this out sometime.
