I read this article over on Slashdot http://slashdot.org/articles/06/07/12/1232249.shtml that Firefox usage is going way up. I was wondering, with all the features that Firefox has, what was taking it so long to be noticed. Once you have used tabbed browsing, you never look back. Firefox is not perfect however, and I see it chew through lots of memory on Linux as well as chewing up CPU cycles on Windows. I do think though that if they can correct some memory issues, and slim down the code so it uses less memory, that Firefox would be perfect. The extensions you can download are really neat stuff. Really, if Opera can use small amounts of memory and be fast, why not Firefox?
