The way I see it, the Monarchy doesn't do a whole pile and really is only a status symbol. The government and prime minister run the country.

So they were just social figureheads but held no real power. So, if they hold no real power, what's the harm?
hmmmmmmm....
What about the tax-payer's money? Waste of tax payers money, for someone who has some power due to their parents?

what about all the scandals all that does is sell newspapers like the Sun or the Daily Mirror and the less of those papers sold the better. But the fact remains they are a waste of money and should be kicked out.

Dang this topic is stagnant! Last post was 6 months ago. So is my view still count?
Anyway whatever it is, the issue is none of our business. Let the UK citizen worry about it. If they prefer to keep their so called beloved monarchy then be it. They are the one who feeds those whole entourage for nothing but just glamor shots of them during parties and hot gossips in papers and mag. By the way i stopped reading about them after Princess Diana my fav mornachy figure died in a car wreck. boohooo hooo hooo hooo
