Post by okasantina on Apr 11th, 2004, 2:01pm I think what is special about my family is very religious one....and we dont fight anything,,,regarding about money matters ;) Special also in a way that we know how to drink... LOL! from my dad to my youngest brother to my sis n laws... hehehe why??? cuz were all funny and crazy when were all together in one party...laughin and silly ;D ;D were sooo very close to each other as in verrryyyyy close!!! ;D :D |

Post by mylane on Apr 28th, 2004, 8:16am special about my family is....we debate about politics since we all have different politician to vote...lol.... ;D cool? well noone will be coolest than my mom....she loves me a lot....to the fact that she want me to get lots of rest and avoid to much exposure to computer she wants to cut our phoneline at home so i wont be able to chat anymore.... ;D ahihihi ;D |

Title: Re: What's Special Or Cool about your families? Post by thebeast on May 3rd, 2004, 10:05pm I bond with my mother the most. I wasnt a wonderful son for her cuz I know I was a pain to raise. She would even tell me that sometimes, but if anyone else would say that to her she would of scolded them. My mother did some pretty crazy things for me as a kid. One time when I was a junior in high school and i played baseball she made me realize how lucky I was. I started in baseball since my sophmore year and my position was second base. I was good. Good enough to make the senior team as a sophmore. When I got to be a junior the coach moved me to center field and told me I would help the team out more if I played in that position. Well it was okay it really didnt bother me at first. He put Ricky, another sophmore in my position at second base. Well Ricky was the athletic directors son for the whole public school system in my home town. I watched him at practice and he was good, but I was faster and could field a lot better. He was a little better at hitting the ball, but not much. Anyway I could not understand how I was helping the team. My mother went to all the games and she was my biggest cheerleader and also my mother coach who would tell me what do to from the stands. My aunt and her would be coaching me from the stands at all athletic events i participated in. I could hear them all the time. It was embarassing at first, but I got used to it. Anyway she could tell something was bothering me, and I told her the way I felt. Well when she heard this lookout. The very next day she went down to the principles office in high school and the superintendent of schools office. She told them her son was not gonna settle for anything but the best and just cuz this kid was the athletic directors son that dont make him one bit better than my son. She told them that my baseball coach was a no good brown noser and he better change the way he coaches or the whole school system would pay for his misjudgement. Well the next day I was back at second base and Rick was in center field. Whats funny is Rick and i were actually good friends back in grade school but his father kept him back a year so he could be better in sports. This is something that is real stupid, but lots of kids dads do this in the states. It wasnt even him who wanted to take my position. He just wanted to play same as me. We both laughed at all the shit that happened. We would both call coach brady coach brown noser, but he couldnt hear us of course. Anyway this is just one of the thousands of things my mother did for me that I know I didnt deserve and was so lucky to get. :) |
