There are a lot of songs in this cd that I like plus he has got a yummy voice. I think his Put Your Head on My Shoulders version is quite good. He has been hailed as the new Frank Sinatra but heck no, there's no replacing the Ole Blue Eyes. |

Post by thebeast on Apr 12th, 2004, 5:57pm Cap im wondering if i have all of the Cash american recordings I have l and lll-solitary man and lV-the man comes around, but i also have unchained and its a american recording but it has no roman numeral on it like all the others do. Is this Cash "Unchained" cd that was recorded with tom petty and the heartbreakers the ll edition? And i agree with u cap, the american recordings are what got Cash a new generation of fans. Although on his last cd american recordings-the man comes around u could tell his voice was fading, but i still listen to it cuz of the way he puts a lyric together. After his label dropped him and Rick Rubin started producing his music and told Johnny that he needed to get back to the simple accustic music he did when he was younger a new generation of younger fans found him that includes me. I wish i could of seen him in concert. He stopped doing the great big concerts and just doing gigs in small venues like bars and such. I wish i could of seen him at a club or small venue |

Post by capricorn1971ad on Apr 15th, 2004, 1:47am yes beast, unchained IS american II, i saw bill monroe in 91 at the ryman, was incredible :o the ORIGINAL grand ole opry, and from the man that caused country music to really change, bill monroe was another great, should check into him if you arent familiar with him beast, is bluegrass.. i also got to meet and see willie nelson at peirres in fort wayne indiana, I used to work there with the sound board people, got to meet many ppl there, marshall tucker, the fabulkous thunderbirds, richard marx :-X as far as country goes, i myself like predominatly the classics (bill monroe, hank sr, patsy cline, charlie pride, the stanley brothers, J cash) and alot of the stuff from what they now refer to as the "outlaw" generation (willie nelson, david allen coe, charlie daniels band, hank jr, etc.. ) i hate this new country, just isnt the same... |

It's called Papichu Lo and it's by this local group from MTL (or so I think). They are called Los Del Mar. They had a hit a few yrs ago, and this song is on the radio alot here. The song is in Spanish and I don't understand it, but the girl who is supposed to be singing it is sooo HOT. The video is incredibly chessy and cheap but hey, the song's got a hook.
